Travel in comfort while our expert guides do the driving for you, taking you through Canberra, Jindabyne and finally Thredbo where you will catch the chair lift to begin your ascent. 

Leaving 9am, we will pick you up from your accommodation within Sydney, you'll travel with our guides through Goulburn, onto Canberra where we will stop for Lunch.  
After that, its onto the high country, stopping in Jindabyne for a Grocery pickup, your guides will navigate to Thredbo.

Once in Thredbo, you'll catch the chair lift up to the eagles nest restaurant and begin the walk to Rawson's pass, once there you'll setup camp and be cooked a lovely dinner. 

After dinner everyone will retire to their tents to get some early rest before you begin the pre dawn walk up to the summit to catch the sunrise. 

When back at camp, you'll enjoy a hot brekkie before setting back off down the mountain and back to Sydney.

What to Expect:

  • This is a two day experience.
  • Pickup from Sydney is 9am Sharp
  • You will be back around 5pm.
  • The Drive to Thredbo is around 6 hours long each way
  • The walk from eagles nest to Rawson's pass is approx. 2 hours, and fairly Gentle with some stairs.
  • From camp to the summit is around an hour and decently steep. 
While this may be suitable for beginners, we do need to note this is not a suitable experience from people with accessibility needs, as there are stairs, steep parts and thin oxygen due to the altitude. Please note all participants must be 8+ years old and out of booster/car seats.
